November 13 - International Day of blind people , attracts public attention on one of the most difficult problems of our time. According to the International Agency for Prevention of Blindness , about 284 million people have vision problems , of which 39 million do not see at all. Eye diseases affect more than 19 million children.

First of all, we’d like to thank you again for your support! Due to your financial support more than 1000 visually challenged children will get an opportunity to read Braille books with tactile pictures, just like their peers.
Kharkiv rehabilitation Center “Pravo Vibora” is happy to inform you that our project “Create Braille Books For 1000 Blind Children” has already started and we are on the research and development stage.

Dear Pearents,
It starts with a set of а Midsummer International Residential School parent skills for families who take care of blind children.
This year's "Mother's School" will be held in two shifts.
The first will take place from July 15 to July 27, 2013
Vtoroi will take place from July 27 to August 9, 2013 at the National Rehabilitation Centre "Ukraine" (Evpatoria) at village Zaozrnoe, 1 Friendship Alley in buildings "Peace" and "Storm".

This week has passed in hark working to raise awarenessabout the project among parents, friends, and acquaintances. We have found manyadherents.
By the end of the week we came to the result of 750$ from 26donors.
Thank participants of the “Kharkov festival” for supportingthe project. We believe that next week, donors will be more generous andactive.  And the blind kids get tactilebooks!
